Renovations and Roles in Nelson

Our team in Nelson is gearing up for some exciting changes with the upcoming expansion of their practice. The renovations, due to be completed in August this year, will result in a fit-for-purpose sterilisation room, a new surgery and a brand-new staff room for the team. The extra space means there will be a need for an additional dentist and oral health therapist (OHT). We spoke to Practice Manager, Kelly Holmes about the impending changes and why living in Nelson is a no-brainer for her.

Situated right in the heart of Nelson City on Collingwood Street, the practice (described by Kelly as a ‘quaint little house’) is surrounded by numerous cafes and amenities. With a vibrant arts and coffee scene (Sublime coffee roasters are just around the corner), Nelson has much more to offer than just beautiful scenery!

The practice consists of two dentists, two dental assistants (DAs), two receptionists and the Practice Manager, who all enjoy being outdoors and making the most of everything Nelson has to offer. Kelly has lived in Nelson all her life, and attributes this to the great weather, the close community, and access to locations such as Abel Tasman and Golden Bay (just an hour and half drive away).

With full books, the team is extremely busy and looking forward to welcoming a dentist and an OHT on board to complete the expansion.

Applications to join the Nelson practice are now open, and we welcome all interest.
