Oral Health Therapist | Harris Dental

Harris Dental brings the experience of four generations of family dentistry to a modern practice dedicated to the latest in dental technology. We are seeking a key member of our hygiene team; you'll be stepping into a supportive environment with collaboration at its core.

Role

As one of our Oral Health Therapist or Hygienists, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the oral health well-being of our community. You will be responsible for providing top-notch hygiene services and education around oral health, as well as promoting preventative care.

• Part time role:

  • 2 days are available, Monday 7.45 am - 6.00 pm and Friday 7.45 am - 3.00 pm (Possibility to work across 2 Practices to make it a full-time role)
• Competitive compensation based on experience - either commission-based or hourly rate can be discussed
• Dedicated hygiene room

Harris Dental is located in the heart of Christchurch CBD, on Bealey Avenue.

Person

You'll fit easily into our practice if you have:

• At least one year of hygiene experience in a private practice
• Outstanding communication skills for patient education and rapport-building
• A natural team spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to the warmth of the team
• Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of clinical practice

To be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
